POLICIES
Please read my policies below before booking an appointment:
Cancellation Policy:
-
Please provide 24hrs notice when cancelling or rescheduling appointments. This eases my ability to fill the space in my schedule.
-
Within the 24hr window, cancellation and rescheduling will result in a charge of 50% of the service cost.
-
If you do not provide proper notice on multiple occasions, you will be charged the full cost of the appointment.
-
Illness and emergencies are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

No-Show Policy:
-
If you do not show up to your scheduled appointment, you will be responsible for the full cost of your session. This will be charged to your card on file.
-
Repeated no-showing may result in termination of our client-therapist relationship.

Late Arrival Policy:
-
To avoid late arrivals, I recommended aiming to arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment time and allow time to find parking. If you are running late, please call or text me to let me know you are still coming to your appointment.
-
If you are 30 minutes late and I have not been able to contact you, the session will be deemed a no-show and you will be charged the full amount of your session.
-
In cases of late arrival, you are responsible for the full cost of your scheduled appointment regardless of the length you receive.

Zero-Tolerance Policy:
-
I have the right to terminate any session and/or client-therapist relationship in the instance of any type of solicitation, sexual harassment, or boundary crossing. Please respect my boundaries and my space during our sessions for the benefit of our therapeutic relationship.

Payment & Intake Policies:
-
Full payment for the service provided will be collected at time of service. I require a card on file for all appointments.
-
I accept cash, credit/debit cards, HSA/FSA cards, Apple/Google Pay, and Venmo at this time.
-
Tips are never expected but always appreciated!
-
I do not bill medical insurance, but I am happy to provide a superbill for those wanting to get reimbursed by their insurance company. Payment will still be required by the client at time of service. Please reach out to your insurance company first to ensure they accept out-of-network providers for massage.
-
All clients are required to fill out health intake forms before their first appointment and I ask these forms be updated annually. This is a WA State law requirement. All health information will be kept private as required by HIPAA. The information on your health intake forms is used to make informed decisions about your treatment and keep you safe during your session. If you have any questions or concerns about providing your general health information, I encourage you to reach out to me directly via phone or email.
Minors Policy
-
Any client under the age of 18 will require written permission of a parent or guardian prior to receiving treatment.
-
Those under the age of 16 will require a parent or guardian to be present either within earshot or in the room for the entire session. There is a chair in my treatment room or benches in the hallway right outside my office where parents or guardians can sit and wait during the session.
-
Intake for minors, especially those new to massage, includes a discussion of draping, boundaries, and massage procedures. This ensures minors know what to expect and feel confident in speaking up if they are uncomfortable at any point. I also implemented this step to help minors understand what is okay and not okay during their sessions with me as well as any massage therapist they see in the future.
